EDM and CNC machined from a premium grade of tool steel bar stock with a hardness of 50 to 53 Rc. The hooks are cut square with a height of .022 and polished. The sides of the hammer are narrowed to prevent rubbing on the slide and there is a small chamfer on the edges.

The Ultimate Ring Hammer has a large countersink in the center hole and a chamfered outer edge. These are available unfinished or with a blued hammer.
